RM celebrates its Fifth Anniversary in Technopark
RM Education Solutions India (RMESI), the offshore development centre of RM plc, UK, and one of the top IT companies in Technopark, Trivandrum, organised celebrations in Technopark as well as in town to mark its Fifth Anniversary last week.
To commemorate its Fifth year of operations in Technopark, RM strung colourful banners throughout the park, decorated the office with red and blue balloons and held a dinner party accompanied by a DJ event at Hotel Mascot on Friday.
A cubicle decoration event was also organised within the company on Friday wherein the staff got into the real spirit of things and created cinema halls, tea stalls, casinos, green houses, play schools and even a party office!
At the banquet in Hotel Mascot, the CEO Mr Connell Viegas took the employees through a PowerPoint show detailing RM’s journey, on how it grew in terms of staff count and office space since it began operations back in 2003.
He remarked, “RM ESI has grown tenfold in team-size since commencing operations in 2003. I am proud of you all, without whose hard work and brilliance in executing our projects exactly the way our customers expect, we wouldn’t be so successful today.”
Mr Viegas also mentioned a special word of thanks to the CTO, Mr Anand Balakrishnan, who’s responsible for managing all the technology divisions right from the start. Mr Viegas invited Mr Balakrishnan to cut a huge five tier cake specially baked for RM for the occasion.
After cutting the cake, Mr Balakrishnan offered his felicitations, “This achievement of the company and staff is an excellent example of our efforts to create and sustain a business for our parent company outside their country. I offer my warmest congratulations and thank each staff for their commitment and Mr Viegas for his guidance and support. I am sure this celebration will act as a stimulus to strive for a higher scale of excellence in the years to come.”
