RMESI gets ISO certification

The Technopark-based firm RM Educational Solutions India (RMESI), the offshore development centre of RM plc of the U.K., has been awarded the ISO 20000-1:2005 certification, a press note issued here said.

Earlier this month, the company underwent an audit conducted by Intertek, an international certification organisation that provides professional management systems certification services. The Indian wing of RM already has the ISO 9001:2000 certification for its quality management system.

Technopark-based RM Education Solutions India (RM ESI), the offshore development centre of RM plc, UK has been accorded the ISO 20000-1:2005 certification.

An RM ESI official said that RM ESI, earlier this month, had undergone an audit conducted by Intertek, an international certification organisation providing professional management systems certification services.

RM Education Solutions India Pvt Ltd (RM ESI) had come into being at the Trivandrum Technopark in February 2003. RM ESI supports RM plc UK, in providing software solutions through a wide range of futuristic education-related products and services targeted at schools in the UK, North America and Australia. With an initial investment of Rs 30 million, the company has ambitious growth plans in India. The company also frequently emerges as one of the top exporters of the state, the official added.

The RM ESI team strength is expected to touch 300 professionals by the end of 2009.
