RM ESI Opens New Office in Leela Infopark, Technopark

Trivandrum – February 23, 2010 – Technopark based RM Education Solutions India Pvt Ltd (RMESI) opened their new office at the Leela Infopark within the Technopark campus. Chris Clements, Non-resident Managing Director of RMESI and Russell Govan, Group Director – HR, formally inaugurated the new office on the 13th floor of the Leela Infopark on Monday, 22nd February. The opening of the new office will also support RMESI’s move into Shared Services operations.

Since commencing operations in May 2003, RMESI has been gradually expanding its office space in Technopark in different phases. In addition to the existing 300 seats in Gayatri building, the Leela office has a capacity of 229 seats and is spread across approximately 15,000 square feet, out of which 8000 sq.ft. has been fitted out with high end machines on every desk top, an advanced test lab and other state-of-the-art infrastructure – a dream environment for innovative software professionals. Phase two of the fit-out is currently in progress at the Leela office.

RM Education Solutions India Pvt Ltd (RMESI), the offshore development centre of RM Plc. U.K, was established in 2003 at Technopark, Trivandrum to provide software development and support services to the RM Group worldwide. RM ESI is an ISO9001, ISO27001 and ISO20000 certified company. The company was ranked among the top IT exporters from the state of Kerala during 2003-04.

RM is also planning to launch its products and services in India. Market surveys are in progress in this connection.

This expansion is part of RMESI’s ambitious growth plans in India. Apart from expanding in office space, RMESI is also increasing in terms of team strength – already 300 strong, the head count is expected to touch 375 software professionals by June 2010.
