Fulfilling our social responsibilities

Going forward with the sole aim of improving the lot of lesser privileged children in society, RM Education Solutions India came up with 2 welfare programmes in 2007. The first was the School Adoption Programme where each year we provide support to a Government owned local school in Trivandrum. And second, the Scholarship Programme which involves sponsoring 3 deserving students from the lower strata of society for higher education, by taking care of their tuition fees.

We’d just like to do our bit to contribute to their learning process in any way we can.”

School Adoption Programme

In 2007 we donated a public address system including an amplifier, speakers etc, a laser printer, dozens of chairs, thousands of note books, several sports and play equipment like building blocks, carrom board, chess kit etc. to the   Kazhakootam Government School in Trivandrum.  The following year we helped rebuild their Science Lab with electrical fittings, plumbing and lab furniture. In 2009, uniforms were distributed to all the students at the Karichar Lower Primary School in Kaniyapuram, Trivandrum.

The democratic work culture in RM ESI has also prompted the staff to willingly come forward to participate in this programme. They plan to help out children during the summer vacation by training the kids to use the IT equipment in the schools' computer lab. They also hope to contribute to the development of the children’s soft skills by coaching them in English and so on.

Scholarship Programme

We initiated the scholarship scheme in 2007 to provide aid for students who come under the low income bracket in Kerala and proceeded to select 3 deserving candidates for the scheme. Applications are invited from students who have secured / applied for admission to a reputed university / college for graduation & post graduation courses. Applicants for these scholarships also have to satisfy certain other parameters like being natives of Kerala state, atleast 70% marks for Plus 2, and fulfill the 'Below Poverty Level' criteria in terms of annual family income.

Right now we are sponsoring 7 students under the Scholarship Programme. The students selected have enrolled for academic courses like Engineering, Physics, Biotechnology etc. Every year 3 students will be added to the scheme and they will receive funding towards course tuition fees from RM Education Solutions India for the duration of their courses.
