SwaRM 2007

SwarRM 2007, our annual day celebrations was held in Trivandrum in December. And this year we decided to kick start our festivities by ‘planting a tree’! On behalf of Green RM, Mr Colin Watson, non-resident Director of RM Eductaion Soutions India and MD of Education Management Systems, planted a sapling thereby reaffirming RM’s pledge towards a greener planet.

Warm applause for our outstanding achievers for the year 2007 who won gold medals provided a warm prelude to the entertainment and sumptuous dinner that followed.

The encore item of the evening was definitely the ‘mujra’ dance number set to the pulsating beats of the immensely popular ‘kajra re’. Special mention for the Spanish song that followed which was ‘discordantly’ delightful. And of course our aspiring models walked the ramp for us showcasing the latest in designer wear – the ubiquitous Fashion Show! In between these ‘cultural’ distractions we had the Lucky Dip – more than 50 prizes were given away and the grand prize was a 26” LCD television set.

The evening drew to a close with the DJ belting out some foot-tapping numbers for some ‘high-spirited’ dancing!! Three cheers for RM...
